Committing to pray for our county

If you have arrived at this page because you saw a yard sign, sticker, or social media post, we want you to know that we are praying for you and our community. As followers of Jesus in our area, we want to commit time to pray for needs that concern every person who calls Indiana County home.

If you need prayer for something, tap your neighbor who had the yard sign, sticker, or post up so they can pray with you. Part of our effort is to let people to know that they can bring their cares and concerns to neighbors who will pray for them, and hopefully start or deepen meaningful friendships across our community. Our long-term hope is that the whole church community prays regularly privately and together for the region and people God has given us.

If you are joining us as a "praying neighbor", here are a few ideas to help you and your family to pray for our county on a weekly basis.

PRAY FOR OUR WHOLE COUNTY:

Families- Marriages, Parenting, Children, Elderly, Singles, Lonely
Education - Daycare, Schools, Colleges, Vocational, Students/Teachers
Commerce - Jobs & Businesses, Investments, Grants, Start-ups, Utilities & Services
Law Enforcement - Police Departments, Courts, Councils
Fire & EMS - Fire Departments, Volunteers, Emergency services, Ambulatory services
Government- Administrative & Legislative, Municipal,
Communication - Print, Visual Media & Online
Health & Wellness- Doctors, Therapists, Hospitals, Rehab Centers, Care Homes, Residential Living
Spiritual - Local Churches, Mercy Ministries, Campus Ministries, Spiritual Health

We have divided our county up into four zones of prayer, covering all the communities across our area. If you are able to commit a week for each zone, you will be able to systematically pray for our whole county in a month.
